Student Ambassadors

As an Ambassador, I want to be reassuring and encouraging to newer students since it can be overwhelming when you first start the program. I also help remind everyone that our experiences here at GJA will be what we make them and that cosmetology school can (and should) be fun!

I have always had an obsession with beauty & fashion. The creativity & variety cosmetology provides means I can have a career that is exciting & fulfilling. Everyone should feel beautiful & having the opportunity to make someone's day is a huge bonus!

A career in Cosmetology will ensure I have something that combines my passions and creativity. I love making people feel good about themselves!

As a Student Ambassador, my goals are to be a positive role model and leader, to go above and beyond and to always represent Gene Juarez in a positive light.

I love to make people feel good about themselves. I am creative and love to talk with people. Cosmetology is a career that utilizes all of my passions and strengths.

The education I've received at Gene Juarez so far has been incredible! If I had to choose one thing that I valued most about my experience, it would be the instructors. They are all so amazing and talented truly caring about each student by doing everything they can to make sure we succeed.

My goal as a Student Ambassador is to keep the school environment positive and make sure I am available to new students if they have any questions or concerns.

Confidence is the key to success and I truly enjoy helping people feel better about themselves. As an Ambassador, I not only get to create a lasting impression on my guests but my classmates as well!

Our instructors are truly amazing. They are with you every step of the way & often times you are learning something new without even realizing it!

As a Student Ambassador, I would love to get involved in the community and inspire others to get their careers started.

I chose a career in Cosmetology because I love to make people feel beautiful. Being able to change someone's day from bad to great with just an awesome service is very empowering.

I'm inspired by the challenge of becoming competent and successful in hair design. I find it very rewarding.

I chose a career in Cosmetology for many reasons. I wanted to do something to help support my family. I also love doing hair & making people feel good about themselves. And I also wanted an outlet for my creativity.

My goals as an Ambassador involve motivating new students, promoting Gene Juarez to others, participate in community outreach & become more involved in event opportunities.

As a Student Ambassador, I hope to inspire and help other students in any way I can. I want my passion and excitement about Cosmetology to evoke positive energy in everyone around me. I also want to help educate anyone interested in this career about GJA and the amazing opportunities available to them.

This industry has always been fascinating to me. I wanted to find out how to work with hair and shape it into different things while making people feel great about themselves.

I value the professionalism at GJA. It is second to none. The image that is projected at Gene Juarez is one that SHOULD be taught in EVERY industry.

I love people & I love fashion! Becoming a hair stylist incorporates both of those things into one career path. If I can do this, so can you!

My main goal as an Ambassador is to be a positive role model on campus. It is so easy to let things get to you, but staying positive is essential to success in this industry.

As an Ambassador, I want to make all students feel welcome and give them a more positive outlook on any situation. I also want to help people in our community see GJA as an uplifting place to go to despite the down ecomonmy.

I have wanted to do hair my whole life! After I attempted community college for awhile, I finally decided to do what I actually loved which is Cosmetology.

My goal as a Student Ambassador is to be a mentor to others and help build their confidence. I want to help fellow students feel good about their decision to attend GJA.

I have something within me that strives to be a better person and loves to make a difference. I chose this career because it always changes. There is always something to learn and I love a every second - every style created, every trend set and every smile received!

The thing I value most about the educational experience I have received at the Academy is the close bond I have developed with my class mates. My objective as an Ambassador is to inspire my peers to achieve their goals and provide support for them in any way I can.

I chose a career in Cosmetology because I would watch my mother-in-law doing hair & I loved the creative atmosphere! I love talking to people and making them feel beautiful. I have so much fun doing hair that it doesn't feel like a job!

GJA is a fun learning environment with hands on training from day one and great educators. I feel that in going here, I will have a lot of opportunities in the future.

I want to make everyone feel comfortable when they walk through the door. I remember how friendly & helpful the Ambassadors were when I was in Design and when I got onto the floor. Now that I am an Ambassaor, I want to be that person and show new students that school can be fun while still maintaining a professional image.
